“Rhizome Bracelet” silver cuff inspired by nature

The “Rizoma” pieces by famaraspirit stand out because of their sensitivity. They are true statement jewellery pieces which, when worn, become the drawn of admiring gazes from all. Their design is infused with attention to detail, from the particular beauty that our island offers us, where everything is presented as if in two extremes, from a bird’s eye view or under a magnifying glass. 

This spectacular bracelet came to me after I met Sharon F. in Jameos del Agua. I had the opportunity to participate in a dance performance she was directing called Rizoma. Hence the name of the bracelet and the concept of connection and interdependence that is also behind the design of this jewellery. 

The Rhizome bracelet is reminiscent of the texture of fine roots connected to each other. Like those networks woven by the vegetation beneath our feet, we human beings also relate to each other and share knowledge, dreams, and art. This jewellery is born from this need for that connection, a tribute to the networks of mutual support between people.

All famaraspirit jewellery seeks to create a lasting and sincere bond with nature. That is why we believe that sustainability goes far beyond recycling or the choice of a particular material; it is a way of understanding our existence as coexistence, following the slow natural rhythm of things and encouraging moderate, conscious and local consumerism. 

The “Rizoma” bracelet has been designed in Famara and is produced in our workshops.
