Handmade jewellery
The traditional Canarian earring can be found in any jewellery box in a Canarian home. Whether a rebellious young girl, a classic mother or a proud grandmother, they all wear this creole, often in silver and sometimes in fine gold. This design is similar to those used by Sumerian women around 2500 BC, and is one of the oldest forms of earrings known to man. It is thought to have been brought to the islands by settlers 500 years ago.
Our Silver Hoops are carefully handmade with the shape of a crescent moon and intertwined threads of fine Sterling Silver.
