Introducing the Rhizome bracelet by famaraspirit — a statement piece inspired by the delicate, interconnected roots beneath our feet.

Born from a meeting at Jameos del Agua and a dance performance called Rizoma, this bracelet embodies the concepts of connection and interdependence, and the invisible networks that bind us together.

Just as roots spread beneath the earth, we are connected through people, knowledge, dreams, creativity, and art. Rhizome is a tribute to these networks of mutual support, and to the beauty that flourishes when we connect.

Each piece is handcrafted in our Famara workshop from recycled silver with a deep respect for nature and a belief in slower, more conscious ways of living and creating.

The ‘Rhizome’ pieces by famaraspirit stand out due to their sensitivity. These true statement jewellery pieces draw curious glances from all who see them. The designs are infused with attention to detail and draw inspiration from the unique beauty of our island, presenting everything as if seen from above or under a magnifying glass.

This distinct bracelet was created after I met Sharon F. in Jameos del Agua. I had the opportunity to participate in a dance performance that he was directing, also called Rizoma. This explains both the bracelet’s name and the concept of connection and interdependence behind the design of this jewellery.

The Rhizome bracelet is reminiscent of fine, interconnected roots. Just as the vegetation beneath our feet is connected by networks, so too are we human beings, relating to each other and sharing knowledge, dreams and art. This jewellery is born from this wish to connect, and is a tribute to the networks of mutual support between people.

All famaraspirit jewellery is designed to cultivate a lasting and authentic connection with nature. We believe that sustainability goes far beyond recycling or the choice of a particular material. It is a way of understanding our existence as coexistence, following the slow, natural rhythm of things, and encouraging moderate, conscious, and local consumerism.

The ‘Rhizome’ bracelet was created in our workshop in Famara in recycled silver.
